Love the name Lucy

NoSauce · 31/03/2020 09:59

Lucy is nice.

Florence
Clara
Alice
Matilda
Harriet
All go well too.

LoisLittsLover · 31/03/2020 10:02

My dd is Eliza Lucy so I think that is a fab combo.

LoisLittsLover · 31/03/2020 10:04

I also love alexa but couldn't bring myself to use because of the amazon device!! So also love alexis

ArlenesWoodBurningStove · 31/03/2020 10:08

I love the name Eliza. I don't think your other names are quite as nice, sorry. I like Jenna, I wouldn't use Alexa because of the device, and I think Lucy is a bit popular.

Do you like:
Nina
Pearl
Stella
Jemima
Cora

wishing3 · 31/03/2020 10:10

I think that Lucy is lovely.

Windyatthebeach · 31/03/2020 10:11

The Eliza I know has dsis Alice..

wishing3 · 31/03/2020 10:12

I also think that while Lucy might have been a bit more common for a different generation, it doesn't seem to be for children born now (not sure where it is in the popularity rankings). I'm a primary teacher of 16 years and have never taught a Lucy.

Peachbubble · 31/03/2020 10:28

Lucy goes nicely with Eliza

MagratsDanglyCharms · 31/03/2020 10:46

Margo?
Jenna is ok.

Maverick66 · 31/03/2020 10:48

Matilda ( Tilly)

Astronica · 31/03/2020 11:03

I like Lucy best from your list with sister Eliza. I really like Alexis but would aim to get different sounds - seems rather samey with Eliza considering there are thousands of names out there. Jenna is okay.

Annabel
Verity
Georgina
Jemima
Imogen
Lucia
Melody
Frances
Florence
Caroline
Juliet
Beatrix
Harriet
Celeste

Pinkypink · 31/03/2020 12:28

Lucy would be my first choice.
Also like Jenna -only put off by the thought of people mishearing it as Gemma.
Don't like Alexis at all. Seems dated.
A pp suggested Cora, that sounds great with Eliza

Flymetothestars · 31/03/2020 12:40

I adore the name Lucy

Other suggestions

Marnie
Sadie
Imogen
Holly

emmathedilemma · 31/03/2020 13:01

Lucy works well.
I don't think Jenna or Alexis are the sort of names that really go with Eliza. Jenna is very 1980's to me. I think you need a name that's modern but older (if that makes sense) i.e. one of those old fashioned names having a bit of a revival....
Martha
Cora
Alice
Matilda
Florence

tryingtoconcieve1 · 31/03/2020 13:05

Don’t like any of the ones on the list sorry
What about
Eliza and Martha
Eliza and Charlotte
Eliza and Penelope
Eliza and Juno
Eliza and Thea

Windyatthebeach · 31/03/2020 18:01

Eliza and Etta

LotusClover · 31/03/2020 18:09

I agree with @emmathedilemma, an older name that still sounds somewhat modern would be best. Some more ideas:

Adela
Carina
Clara
Kate
Maria
Rosalie

123Dancewithme · 31/03/2020 23:24

Lucy from the three you listed.

How about Martha?

Reythemamajedi · 31/03/2020 23:25

Ruth
Beatrice
Alicia

PrincessLouis · 31/03/2020 23:31

Lucy of your three

Like Nina suggested above, or the old but new ideas like Martha

Anna?

student26 · 31/03/2020 23:34

I have an Eliza (short for Elizabeth) and if I had another daughter she would be named Kathryn or Katherine, short name Kitty.

Jj2431 · 01/04/2020 15:03

Lucy is lovely.

Jenna is okay

Alexis no

Whatsyourflava · 01/04/2020 16:20

Lucy is lovely. Have we helped @Northern12345

Lastbustowhitehawk · 01/04/2020 16:29

I prefer Lucy of the three but it seems a bit bland next to Eliza. A few thoughts:
Josephine
Ciara
Clara
Stella
Genevieve (could use nn Jenna)
Alexandra if you like the Alex bit? I'm not keen on Alexis I'm afraid, agree with PP that it's a bit dated.

Congratulations and good luck!
