Middle names to go with...

Aerith for our baby girl (already had a discussion about the name, wasn't well received but hubby and I love it).

Not sure what goes well with it! I do love Lydia but not sure if it flows well?

All suggestions welcome.

Rose
May/Mae
Ruth
Elizabeth

I agree that Lydia doesn’t flow that well

Isn't Aerith a made up name for the Final Fantasy games? I havent heard it anywhere else other than that, but could be mistaken.

I think Aerith Lydia sounds a bit lispy. Something about the th ending of Aerith combining with the L. Maybe a stronger starting letter for the middle name?

Aerith Joy
Aerith Georgia
Aerith Gaia
Aerith Coral
Aerith Bella

...it's quite a hard name to find middle names for, tbh. Middle names beginning with D, F, H, S, T, V and Z don't seem to work, either, for the same reason.

outnumberedmummy · 11/03/2020 21:30

Joan?

IVflytrap · 11/03/2020 21:32

Actually, ignore my suggestion of Aerith Bella, as it sounds like someone who can't say Arabella properly.

Yes, it is from Final Fantasy. Aren't all names "made up" though? Hmm

I think Lydia Aerith flows better , just call her Aerith ( which I like 👍)
My aunt was Isabel Ann , known as Ann

erised · 11/03/2020 21:40

@Doilooklikeatourist I could! Same as my sister, she is known by her middle name.

How about Mary?

erised · 12/03/2020 13:30

Think the vowels definitely sound good.

What about Aerith Autumn? Or Aerith Moon? (bit ott and not a vowel but it sounds pretty)

Whatsyourflava · 12/03/2020 15:16

Autumn is a lovely name

IVflytrap · 12/03/2020 18:20

Fair enough. Yes, all names are made up if you go back far enough. I should probably have said "created for Final Fantasy" instead.

I prefer Autumn over Moon. I think Moon could be a hard middle name to have (don't know if this generation of kids use the word "moony" or not...). How about:

Aerith Marla
Aerith Briar
Aerith Willow
Aerith Rowan
Aerith Holly
Aerith Linn
Aerith Molly
Aeirth Cora
Aerith Antonia
Aerith Runa
Aerith Mabel
Aerith Nancy
