We’re planning a second baby in the not too distant future and whilst we have a boy name sorted, I change my mind a lot on girl names. I have a few names in mind but can’t find a combination I love. (We definitely want to give the baby a middle name). The names we like are;
Alice
Lydia/Lidia
Isabel
Isabella
Morgan
Hermione
Anastasia
Amelia
Rose.

Some combinations wouldn’t work due to knowing people with similar names but wondered if anyone had any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Alice - LOVE! Completely biased since I have one of my own though.
Lydia/Lidia - Not a fan sorry. Ok as a middle name.
Isabel - Nice. Admittedly I prefer the Isobel spelling though.
Isabella - I prefer Isabel.
Morgan - Unusual. I do like though.
Hermione - Will never escape the Harry Potter connection. It is a gorgeous name though.
Anastasia - Very nice.
Amelia - Pretty name. Second favourite.
Rose - Much better as a middle name.

As for combinations, I like:
Alice Isabel
Alice Amelia
Amelia Rose
Morgan Lydia

Butterfly84 · 09/03/2020 22:14

My favourite is Rose. But I feel that Rosie ruins the name.

Morgan is my second favourite. A very strong name.

Hate Alice (sorry), very wet fish. And Amelias are everywhere at the minute so I would personally avoid Amelia.

I wouldn't get too focussed on a name right now when you're not yet pregnant OP.

Lol your name list is practically mine, in fact my girl twins are named two of your names! Love them all.

Bubbletrouble43 · 10/03/2020 11:34

Alice is my favourite of the underused ones! As with the two I chose, it's very vowelly I chose traditional consonanty middle names to go with, I think Alice Morgan would be lovely

Bubbletrouble43 · 10/03/2020 11:34

I mean unused, not underused, by me.

17caterpillars1mouse · 10/03/2020 15:30

I really love Lydia

123Dancewithme · 10/03/2020 16:31
