Sister for Philippa

Still pie in the sky at the moment, but thinking about TTC DC2 and wondering about names... DD is Philippa, Pip or Pippa for short, and our boys' name is Edward (Teddy), but for a second girl we're not sure...

Madeleine
Tabitha
Tallulah

Any ideas?

Of the three, Madeleine.

I also like Charlotte and Josephine with Philippa.

For some reason my brain went to Sadie or Edie for that combination.

Lucinda or Jemima.

I’m a Philippa and those were the names I chose for my sister when she was born (46 years ago!). My parents chose differently and she’s always hated her name! Of the two, I think Lucinda would’ve suited her best. My daughter’s middle name is Jemima- I couldn’t let that one go Grin.

Tallulah feels quite a different sort of name from Philippa and Edward to me.

I know a Philippa always been Phil. Siblings Molly and Olivia (Libby).

Shockers · 27/02/2020 15:25

@SomeoneElseEntirelyNow- think the lady from the Cabin on Corrie...

It’s much cooler now Ms Ora has arrived, but was a totally random choice at the time- there are no more of her age. Both my brother and I have quite classic names.

I actually like it now, but we both got tired of people saying, ‘What, as in Fairclough?’ when we were in our teens!
