Looks like Rachel will def be the first name but we are struggling to make a decision on the middle. Sister to Louise Catherine. Which is your favorite?

  • Rachel Grace (part of clan motto)
  • Rachel Victoria (my mum's middle name)
  • Rachel Georgia (will be born in Georgia, USA)

Out of your options I think Rachel Grace is my favourite. Has a lovely flow.

Not sure if you were looking for other suggestions but just incase how about

Rachel Rose (just looked up Georgia's state flower - it's also the national flower of Usa so a nice nod to your time there either way!)

Or Rachel Alice that has a nice ring to it.

Rachel Victoria

Rachel Georgia does not flow. At ALL. Sounds hideous.

The other two both sound lovely and if I was forced to chose one, I'd go with Grace. But both are nice.

Victoria

But Grace nice too

Victoria, because a family connection would be lovely for Rachel as she grows up (my two DC have family connected middle-names and love it)

Graymare · 21/02/2020 00:45

Victoria

Rachel Grace and Rachel Victoria are both nice. I think Rachel Georgia doesn't flow as well as the other two.

Pemba · 22/02/2020 06:28

I like Rachel Georgia, and it will be a nice reminder in the future of where she was born. OK, Georgia as a name was popular in the 90s, but so what? I don't see why people are saying it doesn't flow so well as the other names, can't see that at all.

Rachel Grace is nice too.

Rachel Victoria is my least favourite, but still quite nice. They are all nice names, and Rachel is quite a refreshing change to all the ultra-girly or 'old-lady' names that are popular now. It's classic, simple and strong sounding.

jfoyo26 · 22/02/2020 18:30

@pemba yes, I struggle to see how Georgia doesn't flow as well - it probably goes best with our surname - which is one syllable and starts with a Y. The more my husband and I discuss it I think Rachel Grace is my favourite, my husbands is Rachel Victoria and we both like Rachel Georgia so in the art of compromise it will probably be that!

Rachel Victoria is lovely. Grace is so boring as is such a common middle name.

emilybrontescorsett · 22/02/2020 18:41

Victoria.

BusterMove · 22/02/2020 21:28

@jfoyo26 you could always go Royal Family style and have 3/4 given names!

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 23/02/2020 02:30

Rachel Victoria is really pretty!!

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 23/02/2020 02:34

I'm American and Atlanta is nice but I just dont think Georgia flows with Rachel. I like the name Georgia but it doesn't fit Rachel to me. Rachel Victoria is just such a pretty combo!

Grace is pretty but it's so overused.
