Looking at your other thread and I think Rosie would go really well with Annie! Lovely names!

sleepismysuperpower1 · 14/02/2020 21:03

I would go for Rose, nn Rosie, or maybe Clara?

youngestisapsycho · 14/02/2020 21:06

I love Annie... wanted it along with Stella or Sally... DH was a firm no for all! This was 18 yrs ago tho...

KakaJen · 14/02/2020 21:15

What about 'Ruok'?

EthelMayFergus · 14/02/2020 21:21

No help but I love the name Annie. Maybe Clara?

EthelMayFergus · 14/02/2020 21:25

Sorry I'd left this tab open and hadn't seen sleepismysuperpower1, great minds etc. Grin

Elderflower14 · 14/02/2020 21:30

IHeartKingThistle · 14/02/2020 21:34

We have an Annie. Best name! Had a DS after but our girl names were Maggie, Rosa, Tess, Hazel. Smile

IHeartKingThistle · 14/02/2020 21:35

Should say Margaret, nn Maggie!

sockittome123 · 14/02/2020 21:38

Rosie May would be a beautiful name

Whatsyourflava · 14/02/2020 21:40

Rose would be prefect

Annie and Maggie

manicinsomniac · 14/02/2020 22:47

I would go for another shortish, two syllable name but not an ie ending or an A beginning. Oh, and not Bella or Elsa!

Clara, Cara, Carys, Cleo, Emma, Ella, Eva, Erin, Eden, Flora, Freya, Greta, Giselle, Hannah, Hazel, Honor, Isla, Iris, Kiera, Layla, Lyra, Lois, Leah, Laura, Mila, Mika, Mala, Martha, Maia, Nina, Nyah, Orla, Pippa, Rosa, Rhiann, Seren, Sara, Summer, Tara, Tessa, Thea, Willow, Zara

Astronica · 14/02/2020 22:58

Both Rose and May are lovely and both would work beautifully as a sister for Annie. Rose is my favourite.

katy1213 · 14/02/2020 22:59

Clarribel? Shouldn't that be Clarabelle? Anyway, whatever - it's a cow with a bell with round its neck. Kind of Vache qui Rit. Although as this is Mumsnet, I think Vachekiria would make a lovely girl's name.

katy1213 · 14/02/2020 23:00

Whoops, I see it's a train!

BrutusMcDogface · 14/02/2020 23:06

I know sisters called Annie and Lucy Smile

Amyrosebud · 14/02/2020 23:08

I love Bessie or Betsy as Annie's sister.

Bol87 · 15/02/2020 13:17

We have an Annie (Annabelle but she gets her nickname 99% of the time) .. sister is going to be Daisy Smile

Our other consideration was Amelia..

SalmonOfKnowledge · 15/02/2020 13:18

What about Tara?

SpeckledyHen · 15/02/2020 13:20

Annie and Audrey

SalmonOfKnowledge · 15/02/2020 13:21

@Bol87 those are two names that Americans give to cows. I like the name Annabel and the name Daisy and at the risk of criticising American naming trends - they can give nicer names to cows than to children - but those two names together could bring to mind a herd of cows in an American's mind (if that matters?!) I would put something like Juliet, Meredith or Vivien with Annabel to bring out that elegant side of the name.
