Rafael, Arlo or Luca?

I love Arlo, I think it’s a great name. I also like Rafael. Not so keen on Luca.

Rafael and Arlo are my favourites. DP loves Luca, and I like it but don't love it.

Raphael. Don’t like the Spanish spelling unless you have Spanish relatives it’s a bit random.

I don't like any of them. The least awful one is Luca, but Luke or Lucas are much nicer.

U've never met one, but met a fee of the other two. Arlo to me us thr cat from Bing bunny, and Rafael gets shortened to Raf or Raffy and I hate those.

Oh see I really like Raffy. If we have a Rafael (or perhaps a Raphael) then he would be Raffy.

DP thinks our son wouldn't thank us for naming him Rafael. Thinks Luca is by far the best but it seems to be the least popular on here. Hmmm.

Luca is popular on an international basis as well as in the U.K., up to you if that's a good or bad thing. Maybe a bit dull?

Arlo is a trendy name that will date.

Raphael is nice, it's not that unusual so I don't think your son will have problems with it. Is he likely to be fair haired/blue eyed? I always think it's a strange name unless baby is a bit olive skinned.

I know what you mean about Rafael / Raphael suiting olive skin. Baby is likely to be dark haired but his big sister has blue eyes so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
