A middle name for Winter

Hi all,

Looking for some inspiration for a middle name to go with Winter - we don't know what we are having (due on Wednesday) but would be using this name for a little girl.

Want to avoid any flower names (Rose, Violet, Jasmine, Ivy etc.) as think it makes it sound too much like a plant. Also don't want Grace - over done and also a bit twee with Winter.

I quite like:

Winter Eden
Winter Esme
Winter Isla

Not set on any of them though!

Not looking for opinions on the name please - know it's not everyone's cup of tea and that's OK!!

Thanks in advance all!

Winter Rae (and numerous other spellings on this thread) sounds like Wintery in a Birmingham accent.

Love Winter Elizabeth!

Rae and Ray are totally awful! How about Tamsin, Romilly, Sasha?

Storm

Surprised noone has suggested "Droorzonne", traditional in northerly climates.

Why have a middle name at all ?

Ellmau · 16/02/2020 17:30

I would avoid any name which is also a noun or adjective with Winter.

I know 2 Winters (including a Winter Rose!) It’s a lovely name.

Nothing new to suggest, but Winter Meredith is my favourite so far.

I hope you don’t have too long to wait!

Grin took me a moment there.
