Which name??

Hiya girls, which name do you think is best?
Arla or raya?
Finding it so difficult to really find any I like! OH loves arla but the milk company thing kinda throws me a little but I still like it, and we both said we liked raya.
Or does anyone have any other suggestions of names I might like considering I like these 2?

Hate to say it but I did instantly think of the milk. I even know a couple who have a Milly and the other day I was over theirs for a cuppa and the dad was about to leave and sitting shouted "off to get soms aptamil for mil" sounded odd but still think Milly is cute.

I don't know if it's just because I'm thinking on the lines of brands now but raya reminds me of raybands lol.

I too thought of the milk, but not keen on Raya either. I realise its the feminine of Ray, but still sounds masculine to me, or reminds me of cheap, Rayon material. I prefer the other suggestions given above.

Hmmm arla and reya. Im assumung you like 'a' ending names....

I also love Arla but husband has vetoed it based on the dairy firm and several other people have made the same connection.

Reya is kinda cool but i think you will be forever correcting people assuming its F-reya. This would annoy me as a mother but would probs be very annoying for the child.

My daughters middle name is Soraya and I call her (first name)-Raya all the time as a nickname. We almost went with Soraya as a first name as I love it and the nn Raya so much!! But we love her first name a tiny bit more.

I’ve also seen Raya spelt Raeya but it’s a bit too fussy. You might like it though.

Arla is nice but I just think of dairy too.

And I don’t think you’d ever have to correct anyone saying Freya. It sounds completely different

Sorry, don't like either. Clara is nice.

I love Arla! I thought I was the only one 😍

I like Arla Raffaele - I think it sounds so amazing together even though I know some dont consider Raffaele a girls name. Raphaela doesn't flow as well but I love Arla :)

I find Raya a bit dull honestly but I like Raine or Reigna or Lorraine.

I like Arla, Raya I can see people maybe being confused about pronouncing Rya or Raya as it is spelt at first.
