What other names did you consider?
What are their brothers names?
Do they go by a nickname or do you always use their full name?

I like this name but not sure it's 'the one', three syllables seems long compared to my other children.

Other names I like are Barnaby, Raife, Cassius.

Names I like but can't use Jasper, Casper, Rafferty.

Any suggestions very welcome!

Cassius is a friggin’ awesome name.

I love Raphael but I worry it’s a bit too flowery and hard to say. Raffy is a really cool nickname though.

I considered Cassius. Ended up with Lincoln.

No one the subject of Xavier how would you pronounce it? It would be Zavier to me but a voiceover on a tv programme I was watching last week said it as Exavier.
I think Raphael has grown on me from knowing one. He tends to be Raf or Rafa.

My cousin has a Raphael, they were torn between that and Gabriel.

IIRC they went for Raphael as preferred Rafe to Gabe as a nn.

Which I would agree with, although I also really like Gabriel.

However, he is mainly now shortened to Ruff!!
