Matilda, Annabelle, Beatrice and ???

I'm pregnant with girl number 4.

Older girls are Matilda, Annabelle and Beatrice. They go by Maddie, Annie and Trixie. Maddie was originally Mattie but somehow she became Maddie, I know it's not a traditional nickname for Matilda.

We had picked Eleanor and were working on middle names. However, my cousin had her daughter this morning and called her an almost identical name, so we are back to the drawing board.

Our "Rules" are:
3 syllables
Doesn't start with M, A or B (no repeat initials)
Can be shortened.

What do you suggest?

I was going to say Elinor or Eleanor!

I would also think of Katherine as a match.

Teresa (Tess or Tessa for short)

Absolutely beautiful names! My two favourites that fit the rules:

Lydia (Liddy)
Harriet

Breaking the rules, but I’d agree with previous poster on Penelope, which sounds perfect with your existing gorgeous names.

I love all of your names!!

I think Penelope would sound lovely with the ones you already have :)

namechangenumber2 · 31/01/2020 21:22

Jemima! You could have Mimi as a nickname?

simonthedog · 31/01/2020 21:25

Claudia
Coco - I know it's only 2 syllables but I think it goes well with the others.

NameChange30 · 31/01/2020 21:33

Eleanor is a good one

TeetotalKoala · 31/01/2020 21:36

I used to look after a Jemima, she was NN Mima. But if you don't want to double the Ms then Jemmy? Also looked after a Harriet who was Hettie.

Shame no doubling of initials as I'd have suggested Arrietty (NN Etty). I get it though I didn't double mine either.

Catherine (Kate/Katie)
Cecily (Ceecee)

Re Tabby being too cat like. I know people who have a Matilda and Tabitha. They're known as Tilly and Tabby.

Tinty · 31/01/2020 21:36

Cecilia - Cici

Pippa is short for Philippa, surely?!

villamariavintrapp · 31/01/2020 21:48
