Matilda, Annabelle, Beatrice and ???

I'm pregnant with girl number 4.

Older girls are Matilda, Annabelle and Beatrice. They go by Maddie, Annie and Trixie. Maddie was originally Mattie but somehow she became Maddie, I know it's not a traditional nickname for Matilda.

We had picked Eleanor and were working on middle names. However, my cousin had her daughter this morning and called her an almost identical name, so we are back to the drawing board.

Our "Rules" are:
3 syllables
Doesn't start with M, A or B (no repeat initials)
Can be shortened.

What do you suggest?

Oh so many lovely names, that had not crossed my mind. Tabitha, Jemima and Harriet are 3 we hadn't thought of. I do worry that Tabitha "Tabby" is too cat like? What nickname for Jemima? Harriet "Hattie" is cute.

For some reason, Felicity was the first name that popped into my head when I read your list.

Harriet and Imogen would work well, too.

I like Isobel but not if you already have an Annabel.

lottiegarbanzo · 31/01/2020 20:10

Was going to say Miranda but, given rules, Cecily or Cecilia.

Agree with the above posters - Clementine nn Clemmie would be perfect! An "ie" nickname that's 2 syllables!
