A good friend is expecting and just messaged to ask me what I think of this name..... She has met someone while on holiday with a daughter with this name and loves it. Do I give my honest opinion (it's awful!) or not? Is it just me...? I don't think I even like either name separate. Do I lie? Say I'm not keen but it's her choice? Or suggest something else?
It's such an odd name. Would she be known as just Allura or the full, onomatopoeic combo?

It's terrible. It sounds like a really horrible cheap scent or make-up range.

Truly horrific and you have a duty to tell her since she has asked you. It sounds like 'allure', why would you call a baby that?
Allura Aura.. it sounds like a car or a migraine.

It sounds like the migraine I get from being subjected to cheap perfume.
