Violet Grace

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 28/01/2020 23:05

I love Lila/Lyla too. I find Grace is commonly paired with it. If that doesn't bother you (it is Kate Moss' daughter) then I think its lovely!

I like Kiera Violet also. This gets my vote because I think the pairing is more original!

Astronica · 28/01/2020 23:20

I prefer Keira Violet. Lilah is nice enough but is in a crowd of similar names - Laila, Lola, Lily etc. Grace is lovely but quite expected as a middle name. Keira is stronger sounding and less used and Violet is gorgeous and unexpected as the middle.

TatianaLarina · 29/01/2020 01:20

Violet Grace by a long way.

IckleBear · 29/01/2020 17:05

I would choose Violet Grace but out of those, Lyla Grace.

diddlediddle · 29/01/2020 17:16

Lyla Grace is a bit more popular. Grace is a very popular middle name. I like Lyla, but I think Grace makes it sound a bit commonplace.

Keira Violet is more unusual, so I'd probably pick that.

DramaAlpaca · 29/01/2020 17:32

I'm not sure.

I don't like the Keira spelling, I much prefer Ciara.

I think I'd mix things up & choose Violet Grace.

lilgreen · 29/01/2020 18:45

Yes Ciara is preferable to Keira imo. Violet and Grace are in a different league to Keira/Ciara though. Again imo.

Keira Violet

Batmanandrobin123 · 29/01/2020 20:33

I love the name Keira, so pretty. Much nicer than Lila which gets mixed up with all the Layla, Isla, Lily, Aylas.

Marcipex · 29/01/2020 20:34

Violet Grace

Wheresthebiffer2 · 29/01/2020 21:17

Grace Violet.

I don't think the K and the V go together as you have them in Keira
Violet.

TickFollowedTock · 30/01/2020 05:29

I don't know how to say Ciara but I do Keria and it is nice to have less commonly used initials. K and V also have good scrabble values!

I know a lovely Lila and Grace so that was my first go to answer but actually I'm fed up with Grace. I hated having to be graceful and ladylike as a kid, now not so much but saddling a child with a descriptive name that might not match their personality is sometimes unfortunate in shaping an individual. You have only to see how many names are linked to professions to see that there are elements of living up to your name in influencing life choices. I will be looking out for a generation of graceful women that are stamped on by the patriarch.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 30/01/2020 05:54

Keira violet just doesn't work together at all. Plus I personally hate the name Keira, it's sounds so hard.

diddlediddle · 30/01/2020 11:43

Ciara will have to deal with constant mispronounciation, nothing wrong with Keira - it's just like Kieran which is a perfectly well known spelling.

I like Keira. I do think there might be a better middle name than violet to go with it though.

tomatosoup4 · 30/01/2020 11:46

Lyla grace

sel2223 · 30/01/2020 20:38

I prefer your middle names to your first names..... so it's another vote for Violet Grace here

MikeAlphaMike · 30/01/2020 21:43

I prefer the middle names too.
Not keen on Lyla and Keira at all and they seem a bit faddy, but Violet and Grace are classic and lovely.

Why not call them Grace Lyla and Violet Keira.

FOTTFSOFTFOASM · 30/01/2020 21:48

Violet is a good first name. Grace is fine, but a bit meh. Lyla is troublesome, due to spellings etc. Likewise Keira. And I wouldn't use Grace as a "filler"middle name. My DC have three middle names each, and they are all names which have significance (rather than being generic 'middle names', if that makes sense).

ZoeandChandon · 30/01/2020 21:49

I dislike Keira, probably because it just makes me think of Keira Knightly.

FOTTFSOFTFOASM · 30/01/2020 21:51

Worth remembering, possibly, that middle names don't get used other than when journos are talking about slebs' children. So if you want to give them a middle name, just choose something you like, or that has significance to you personally, or that you will never get to use again. Your child will never be known in real life by their middle name as well as their first name. Anyone referring to my DC by their entire names would soon become tired of life and give up. Algernon Onduri Boodle Beau Surname, etc.

Flagg · 30/01/2020 21:53

I wouldn't go with Grace as a middle name if your surname begins with S. That's two sibilants next to each other which is a bit of a mouthful. Not that you (or your daughter) would probably say the whole name very often, I suppose.

Mamato2gorgeousboys · 30/01/2020 21:54

Definitely Lyla. It’s a beautiful name

DaisyCutie3 · 31/01/2020 03:20

Keira Violet
