Hi all,

I'm due March 9th with our first, we didn't find out what are having. We have both agreed on a girls name and found it quite easy... but a boys name seems impossible. Told husband to write a list of five names and I'd do the same... but I cant even seem to manage that!! At this rate 'Boy' is looking likely!

Can you tell us what type of name you like? Just give us a clue?

Or what are the girls names you like and do you like boys name with a similar feel to your girls (eg traditional? Unusual? Etc etc)

Thanks - Girls name we have both agreed on is Emilia Margot (Emmy for short).
I love for girls,
Aria
Emily
Ava
Sophia.

Boys I quite like,
Arlo and Noah.

Husband is not keen on either and likes traditional Irish names, Cilian, Padraig, Shea.

Do you like Patrick. He'll be born around Saint Patricks, day won't he.

Your girls names are gorgeous- I love Emmy as a nickname it’s so cool

Arlo is a great name and I adore Noah too. How about Ezra? Hugo? Milo? Seth or Caleb? Arthur?

Having same issue. Have NEVER found a boys name I like- luckily have had 4 girls. And assuming this next one will be a girl because still don't like Boys names 🤣!!🙄

I struggled with boys names, our final shortlist was:

Daniel
Francis
Rowan
Giles
Alexander
Sebastian

And our final choice was Francis.

How about Dónal? Can also be spelled Donal, or various more complicated ways. Traditional Irish, and the same vowel sounds as Noah and Arlo, so you might like it.

I'm trying to bring it to the UK Grin

@whatsyourflava aww thank you, I love Emmy... and Margot is after my late grandmother (she was Margaret).

I love Ezra, but nobody else seems to like it...
