Middle name for Lila

I guess I have baby names on the brain. I'm revisiting my name lists and I'm really liking Lila but i dont have a middle name paired for it.

I like Lila June which is surprising because i dont like the name June usually. I'm not big on months as names although seasons I like.

Lila Summer or Lila Autumn also have nice rings but any suggestions for similar middle names that aren't times of the.year!

Also Lila or Lilah?

Lila Grace?

Whatsyourflava · 26/01/2020 20:05

Lila Margaret
Lila Clementine

Lilah June sounds lovely. I don't think Lila Summer or Lila Autumn have a nice flow together actually.

There are three girls called Lila Rose in Reception at my DD’s school.

GoodbyePorpoiseSpit · 26/01/2020 20:09

Lila May
Lila Clare
Lila Olive
Lila Louise
Lila Beth

Yeah I'm not one for trendy middle names like Rose or even Grace, although Grace is gorgeous but it's too overused! That is why I'm surprised I liked June because June and Mae are becoming very overly used as well.

I kinda like Lila Everly even though I know Everly is a bit on serge. I'm also American if that makes a difference.

That's my little girls name! Her names Lila Mai

happycamper11 · 26/01/2020 20:13

I've a Lola and the only middle name I could come up with was grace. I know it's over used but it was the only thing that seems to go.

ikeakia · 26/01/2020 20:14

Lila Jean?

Similar to June, but not too usual.

PhonicTheHedgehog · 26/01/2020 20:15

What is the surname?

Lila Jean
Lila Olive ( not if the surname is G)

I keep coming back to Lila Grace though.

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 26/01/2020 20:16

I love Lola! Grace and Mae are lovely, dont get me wrong! I'm just curious if there is anything a little less common. I dont mind more adventurous or frilly names - which gets my choices criticized a lot by to each their own! xo

Lila June is nice

Lila Pearl
Lila Willow
Lila Louise

I'm kinda vibing on Lila Janine which would honor my mother in law?

I know a Lila Madeline.

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 26/01/2020 20:20

Ooohh I like Lila Madeleine (I prefer this version over Madeline)

Mummaofmytribe · 26/01/2020 20:22

Madeleine would be lovely. Unusual combination. But June is great too.

Spartonian · 26/01/2020 20:23

Lila Adele

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 26/01/2020 20:24

Also I like the Lie- la pronunciation. I guess there is some controversy on the pronunciation so thought I would make sure!

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 26/01/2020 20:24

Ooohhh Lila Adele is pretty too!

OP posts:
MyCatScaresDogs · 26/01/2020 20:26

I would spell it Lila and pronounce it Lie-la.

My first thought was Lila Jane. Lila Madeleine is lovely though, I think you could get away with a longer middle name.

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 26/01/2020 20:29

Yeah Jane is a little bland for me but Jade is kinda pretty.

Lila Janine
Lila Jade
Lila June
Lila Madeleine
Lila Adele or Lila Adelie

For me definitely Lila spelling. But I don't think it works with two vowels together. So the middle name needs to start with a consonant.

Lila Rose
Lila Jane
Lila Jade

Grace and May both sound nice as well but perhaps a little overused (even though my LG has May as mn after a family member)

benandhollyagaaain · 26/01/2020 20:36

Not sure why that's all blurred in to one big paragraph... I didn't write it like that! Sorry

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 26/01/2020 20:39

Yes beautiful but a bit overused especially in the states. Every baby has Mae right now! It's kinda like the 80s when Marie was the go to middle name! Rose is also one of those unfortunately. It's my mom's middle name but she hates it actually! But nothing wrong with those names but Lila is kinda common as it is so looking for a more uncommon middle. I agree about the consonant now that I think about it!

I’m a Jade, it’s a good name, underused these days but still recognisable.
