Thoughts on a strong contender please :)

  • Nice?
  • Popular?
  • Alternative middle name ideas?

Also DD1 is Ruby. Does is go well?

Thanks in advance.

Jasmine is great

How about Jasmine Imogen (imogen much less popular than it used to be)
Jasmine Margaret
Jasmine Clementine
Jasmine agora
Jasmine Cleo
Jasmine Eliza
Jasmine Edith

I think Jasmine Ivy is very pretty. Two climbing plants (you could be describing my ex's house right there!) but if you're OK with that, very pretty.

What is your last initial?

CatToddlerUprising · 26/01/2020 17:07

Love it

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 26/01/2020 18:41

I personally dont like two plant names together! What about:

Jasmine Eve
Jasmine Isla
Jasmine Eden
Jasmine Elodie
Jasmine Ilise or Elise
Jasmine Eliza
Jasmine Alyse
Jasmine Ava

I do like Jasmine Ione even though that is double plant but I feel since Ione isnt the common name it works!

MikeUniformMike · 26/01/2020 18:45

I don't like Ivy. Jasmine is nice.

londoncanyouwait · 26/01/2020 18:49

Both lovely. I actually prefer Ivy to Jasmine but I think Jasmine goes well with Ruby which is also a gorgeous name.

CatSmize · 26/01/2020 18:50

Very nice.

Gigitree · 26/01/2020 18:51

Aww I love it! Jasmine Ivy is a gorgeous name!

DramaAlpaca · 26/01/2020 18:51

It's nice, as long as you don't mind two flower names. I like Ruby & Jasmine together.

Pinkette06 · 26/01/2020 18:52

I think it's lovely and goes well together. I know twins called jasmine and Ruby also and think the names go well!

bridgetreilly · 26/01/2020 18:56

I like both Jasmine and Ivy but together it does sound a bit like a garden centre, sorry.

bridgetreilly · 26/01/2020 18:57

Alternative middle names:

Jasmine Ida
Jasmine Emma
Jasmine Maud
Jasmine Mary
Jasmine Claire

littlealexhorne · 26/01/2020 19:13

I think they sound lovely together, and Jasmine sounds great with Ruby too

TabbyMumz · 26/01/2020 19:16

Jasmine is a beautiful smelling plant. Ivy is a killer that gets into cracks and strangles other plants

Astronica · 27/01/2020 03:47

I'm not a fan of Jasmine (knew so many in the 80s and 90s that it lost its appeal for me) but nothing in particular wrong with it. Ivy is gorgeous and I'd put that first personally - Ivy Jasmine. I do prefer not to have 2 florals together though.

alexdgr8 · 27/01/2020 03:58

sounds like a botanical species to me.
also I don't like the connotations of ivy; poison, creeping, clinging, destroying the home, invading brickwork/masonry, bringing insects into windows...
jasmine seems a bit exotic, but ok. sounds indian to me.
how about jasmine edith, that sounds quite classy; but need to check surname initials as it might spell something. good luck.

PearlsPerils · 27/01/2020 09:33

Aw, so many people saying Jasmine and Ruby sounding good together is making me smile as I have a little Jasmine Ruby of my own!

OP, Jasmine Ivy is a really good name. Botanical names are cool.

HeadlessGummyBears · 28/01/2020 15:33

Love Jasmine Ivy. Jasmine does go well with Ruby without being too matchy. I also like Jasmine Rose.

Thefaceofboe · 28/01/2020 15:42

I don’t love Jasmine Ivy together but love them separate. I love Jasmine Eve

Farmgrl1111 · 29/01/2020 18:53

I love Jasmine but would choose a non-plant name for middle name

Omashu · 29/01/2020 19:43

I love the two plant names together! Why not hey?! Gorgeous name 🙂

SecretNutellaFix · 29/01/2020 19:54

I'm not a fan of using 2 botanical names together, but if she's not going to be using both names day-to-day, then it's entirely up to you.

I like slightly more old fashioned/ classic middle names, so Ruth, Claire, Charlotte, Felicity, Verity, Eleanor all work really nicely with Jasmine.
