Middle name?

So we've decided on the name Emilio for our new baby but we're struggling to decide on the middle name. We like Emilio Marco and Emilio Mateo but are still unsure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

I love Mateo, for no particular reason other than it’s my nickname for my Anglo/French DNeph, but as Matt AO ;abbreviation of his name).
Marco reminds we of a particularly impatient Italian ski instructor I once had.

Matthias and Carlos with the ss endings seem less clunky.

Are you and your partner both Italian?
If one is Italian and one is not, perhaps a middle name from the other culture?
And whose surname will baby have?
If baby will have father's family surname, pick a middle name from the mother's side of the family.

@MyNameHasBeenTaken Our surname starts with S so we're trying to avoid names ending in s. Thanks for the suggestions though :)

@NameChange30 We're both Mexican, we've not decided whether the baby will have both surnames or just the father's yet. Thank you for the suggestions :)
