DH is a bit of a stickler for 'real names' on birth certificates (e.g. would have to be Eve on the birth certificate to call it Evie). Middle name will be Rose.

Thoughts?

I love Isadora. A fabulous sounding name. And can be shortened to either Izzie or Dora, and both of those are lovely.

I like Dorothy Rose and Vivienne Rose.

Ada or Vivienne (prefer Vivien though, less fussy, more Vivien Leigh)

Ivy is very nice but 10 a penny now. Eve is also nice but no good with Rose. Eva Rose?

I feel like every single post I look at on here people are choosing the middle name Rose. Pleeease consider something else! It's so common.

Absolutely love Vivienne. Think it's very classy.

Personally I wouldn’t get the nn Evie from Eve, I would just use Eve. If you want a long name for the BC I would choose Evangeline nn Evie.

@diddlediddle Rose is DH's grandma's name who passed away a couple of months ago, which is why it's set in stone. Sorry that you think it's too common. Personally I don't really see the point in middle names unless they are family names.

Vivienne and Isadora. I think it's lovely that you are using Rose as a middle name .
Out of the 2 I would pick the one which goes more smoothly with your surname .

I love Vivienne and Isadora.

Love these with Rose. Ada is my favorite and Isadora is runner up. Vivian is very pretty but super overused now.

I like Autumn but Autumn Rose is too nouny to me. Arabella Rose is ok but seems like it's also overused. Arabell seems missing a syllable to me. Not a fan of Arielle/Ariella. I dont like Ivy Rose, too planty. Dorothy Rose is too Golden Girls for me even though the names pair well!

Dotty would be a super cute nickname. Evie is fine, but more popular.

@bluemoon2468 sorry to hear about your loss. Yes I think using a family name as a middle name is important - Rose is a lovely choice for you. I didn't know this was your reason when I commented and I stand by my point which is that at the moment it is a very popular choice for middle names, both on here and in real life. You've clarified why you won't be considering another option and that's fair enough!

Also, maybe Evelyn Rose rather than Eve?
