Tom or Edward?

Dyra · 15/01/2020 19:19

First name that came to mind was Benjamin.
Second was Leo.
Third was David, but then I am thinking Broadchurch as the inspiration there.

Lots of lovely other names to choose from, to go with the especially lovely Olivia. I agree with PP, a more classic name would go best.

Just caught up with all the suggestions! Thanks so much for all the ideas i love classic name 😊
On my shortlist i have
Theo, Thomas, Lucas and Harry
So far!
What are you opinions on the name Eddie or is that too much of a nickname? Should it be Edward shorten to Eddie?

Thanks for the help 😊

Theo Thomas Lucas and Harry are all gorgeous

I do really like Eddie but I’d use Edward on the birth certificate- I’m actually not one to usually suggest that - my own official name is a nickname of a longer name and the nickname is on BC and I love that it’s simple like that. However I just really love the full name Edward 🙈

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 15/01/2020 20:11

Edward or Edmund

Joshua

Funkycats · 15/01/2020 20:33

Re last post I'd go for Edward before Eddie. Will give him a choice of nicknames when he's older. I know an Ed, a definite Edward, an Eddie and a Ted.

Funkycats · 15/01/2020 20:35

Ps all the Edwards I know are older, so I imagine that your son won't be in a class full of boys with that name.
