Rafferty.

This would be instead of Rafael which has been one of our top two.

(@PlantPotting, this is all down to you! 😂)

I really like it. It was in our top 3 for if DC2 had been a boy!

I prefer Rafael. Rafferty is too frilly.

@Starfish83

The name seemed to get a pretty positive response on a relatively recent Mumsnet thread

I don’t want to keep on at you though 🤣 ❤️ I’ll stop commenting now

I don't like Raphael or Rafferty. I suspect they are naughty boy names.

Love Raphael, Rafferty makes me think of an 80's "nite"club

Naughty boys names? 😂 I thought Rafael was angelic! Naughtiest boy I knew was called Giles.

I like both Raphael and Rafferty. If unsure I would edge towards Raphael as the more traditional one.

I dislike the trend for Irish surnames being used as first names so it's a no from me. I said as much on the previous thread that's been linked, but in that case it went so well with the sibling names that it just worked.

Rafael is much nicer anyway. Rafferty sounds a bit, well, scruffy, for some reason Confused

Can I vote for neither? Rufus is still the best!

If forced to choose, keep Rafael. Rafferty is.... Well, frankly I detest it.
