We have just found out we are expecting our 3rd, ds is Kayla Kathleen & ds is Alfie Andrew never planned the double letter, now over thinking we need to do it again with this one middle names are family names -gran and papa

Name we like are Archie but middle names I like are John my papa who just passed or David family name on both sides

For girl it would be Jorgie/Georgie and middle name Grace - initial JG/GG

But I really like the name Andi for a girl oh is Andrew/Andy he hates it for a girl.

I don't think it'd be good having Alfie and Archie.

They're too alike. It's a twee overload.

Archie and Andi are too like Alfie imo. (And a confusing if your OH is Andrew).

We met a little boy called archer the other day. Thought that was nice.

We liked Archer but family would call him Archie so stuck with Archie as I felt it fitted with Alfie

Nephews is Adam and Allan others are names we both don’t like as can be shortened don’t like ally or ant our surname is hawke don’t think they fit.

I'm confused. Are you looking for an 'A' name for a boy or a double letter name to go with John or David?

@sel2223 you’re not the only one confused here !! @Kirstyaka could you just explain again in really simple terms what you’re looking for? “A” names for boys? Or “D” names and “J” names because of those middle names?

Is your girl name decided on or do you want “G” and “J” names? So confused

How about Georgia Grace? Instead of Georgie, sounds a little too masculine to me. Will give more suggestions after the clarification haha

Archie - not keen. Don't like Archer or Archibald.

Jorgie/Georgie Grace - Jorgie is awful. Georgie is nice. Grace is boring as a middle name.

Andi for a girl - not keen but as a short form of something else might be ok.

My dog is called Archie but I reckon it'll be super common with babys around the same age as your DC because of the royal baby.

Jorgie is awful and made up, Georgie however is lovely (hate Georgia, seems ‘chavvy’)
