Just wondering what people this about these names for a girl. I have short listed a few classic names but I’d love something a little less common. Don’t know if this is just my baby brain though so wouldn’t like to regret it!

Cleo
Aria
Nola
Wren

I like Cleo and Aria

PlantPotting · 11/01/2020 20:09

Those are gorgeous names I can’t think you’ll regret them. Having said that I slightly regret not picking a classic for my son.

I think all 4 are gorgeous though. Especially Aria and Wren. Out of interest what classics are you thinking of?

WindyMiller1020 · 11/01/2020 20:12

I love all 4! Smile

Would probably choose Cleo or Wren personally

Salire86 · 11/01/2020 20:59

Names we have both agreed on are Megan, Jessica, Robyn, Sophie, Hannah and Emma.

I’m not 100% about any of them though. Hoping she’ll come out and just look like one of them Smile

Emma and Robyn for me; Cleo a runner up . Not keen on Wren or Nola or Aria which are all a bit fashionable and likely to feel passé fairly quickly.

Thefaceofboe · 11/01/2020 21:18

I literally love them all 😂 all apart from cleo are on my list but only cos I know a cat called cleo!

Salire86 · 11/01/2020 21:30

My only concern about Cleo is that I think it sounds like a cats name! I think I must have known a cat called Cleo before.

Now I've seen your updated list I'd put Robyn to the top of the list!

helpmum2003 · 11/01/2020 22:45

I think Wren will date and personally not keen on Nola. Cleo and Aria are better I think.
Like all the classic names esp Sophie, Robyn and Emma.

user1493494961 · 11/01/2020 22:51

Cleo is OK but don't like any of the others on that list. Your second list is much nicer, I like all of them.

Flymetothestars · 11/01/2020 22:54

Megan, Jessica, Robyn, Sophie, Hannah and Emma.

@Salire86 really love all that list of names apart from Robyn which sounds a bit downmarket

Like Robin as a boys name though

Cleo, Aria, Nola and Wren are really nice but especially Wren and Aria

MondeoFan · 11/01/2020 22:57

Cleo
I'm pretty sure Nola isn't a name, it sounds like it's short for something

Krazynights34 · 11/01/2020 23:06

Wren and Nola for me!
May I suggest some other names...?

I have a Robyn and she constantly gets complimented on her name! Her name is actually Robyn Hannah.... great minds and all that!

roiseandjim · 11/01/2020 23:11

Aria is really popular atm. I love Wren

PG2018 · 11/01/2020 23:19

Wren or aria get my vote.

MsJuniper · 11/01/2020 23:21

So similar to my list! I'd go for Cleo, it's the only name I feel sad for not using.

HeronLanyon · 11/01/2020 23:29

Wren doesn’t sound to me like grown woman’s name to me I think - but I’m guessing if I knew any grown women called wren I’d feel differently ?

Kiaa · 11/01/2020 23:43

Love Aria or Cleo is cute too.

Astronica · 12/01/2020 07:14

Cleo is gorgeous and the only one I like on your first list. I like every name on your other list but favourites are Sophie, Robyn and Megan.

daisypond · 12/01/2020 07:41

From your first list, I only like Cleo. Wren and Aria are a bit tacky.

Poorolddaddypig · 12/01/2020 12:14

Robyn 😍

MikeUniformMike · 12/01/2020 17:18

Cleo. Not keen on the others

sel2223 · 13/01/2020 10:08

Our family cat growing up was Cleo!

I prefer your second list to your first list OP
