Just after opinions please. Due my 2nd daughter in March and so far no names have "jumped" out at me.
We do have 2, Ivy and Daisy which my OH choose.
I like them both but much prefer Daisy.
Just wanting people's opinions, which do you prefer.
I don't like "popular" names and wondering are any of these names that!

Thanks

NoSauce I so agree with you on Willa. Exactly as you said. It's popping up as a suggestion on every thread, even when it doesn't fit the criteria in the OP. Horrible name.

As to this thread, I prefer Daisy to Ivy, but it is a bit too twee & cutesy for me. I've heard worse though, Willa for example Grin

What is your 1st daughters name. X

lisag1969 · 10/01/2020 22:41

Daisy.
I also like poppy, Harriet, Elsie, tallulah
Ruby, Charlotte. X

Moondancer73 · 10/01/2020 22:41

Ivy is much nicer. Daisy is a child's name, Ivy is a name she can grow up with.

WindyMiller1020 · 11/01/2020 01:20

I like Ivy!

Not keen on Daisy.

If I was going to choose plant/flower names I also like Holly and Iris! Zinnia is quite nice too but a bit more "out there"

RoseMartha · 11/01/2020 01:47

Not keen on either

How about

Fleur
Jasmine
Lilian
Rosemary
Rose

daisypond · 11/01/2020 09:36

I’m not wildly keen on either. Ivy is very dreary scullery maid name, and has just negative associations to me - poison, invasive weed, destructive, etc. Daisy is OK, but I prefer Margaret or Marguerite. Out if the two, definitely Daisy.

Mamabear88 · 11/01/2020 09:36

If you don't want a popular name don't pick Ivy. I'd go with Daisy

MikeUniformMike · 11/01/2020 15:29

I don't like Ivy. Daisy is ok.

PlantPotting · 11/01/2020 17:05

I love the name Willa. One of my very favourites

missmouse101 · 11/01/2020 17:16

Willa is hideous. Iris is always suggested and it's an anatomical part and therefore not nice at all. Ivy and Daisy are ok, not particularly great though. If you like plant names, how about Fern, Bryony, Hebe, Cassia?
