Hi all

Due a boy at the end of February and I love the name Hugo.

DH isn’t sure.

What are the thoughts on it and are there any other name suggestions?

I like it. It's no longer a 'posh' name if that's what 's putting your husband off.
It's nice, not too long, won't cause any pronunciation or spelling issues, and it quite portable as it is a Latin name.

I really like Hugo, it's well known but you don't hear it that often, sounds nice, simple to spell

A few years ago I'd have thought it a bit pretentious, but now I'd say cool and a bit quirky.

I like it. Although whenever I hear it I smile now as it reminds me of a thread on here where someone asked what it was short for. Cue the p*ss taking and pages upon pages of crap gags that made me laugh.
