Names for a baby brother of Kiran?

We’re expecting a boy and I really love the name Noah Thomas (Thomas for middle name) but I don’t know if it goes with his brother (Kiran Adam). Do they match or should I reconsider?

It's fine.

A lovely combination ❤️
Noah Thomas is a gorgeous name

I think it's quite nice when siblings names aren't too matchy.

IckleBear · 26/12/2019 16:26

They're fine together.

The spelling Kiran is v much an Indian name. Are either of you Indian? Or did you mean Keiran? If kiran is Indian by heritage perhaps a similar Indian name?

Yellow1c · 26/12/2019 16:42

I think they're nice together :)

Seems odd giving one a Hebrew name and the other an Indian one. How about Bodhi or Navin

Nobiwan · 27/12/2019 11:34

Dads half Indian, so we chose Kiran as a name that would work in both the English and Indian sides of the family, so it took a bit of convincing to get him to like Noah as a name!

I don’t think they match. Also seems a bit random giving one an Indian sanskrit name and the other a hebrew / arabic one.

Bluerussian · 27/12/2019 11:37

Noah Thomas is fine but have to say never heard of 'Kiran'.
'Ciaron' yes, it's an Irish name and lovely.
Still you've said about the Indian connection & that's fine.

Whoops75 · 27/12/2019 11:49

Kieran or Ciaran are the Irish names not Ciaron.

Op I think Noah and Kiran are lovely think saying them kiraN aNd Noah is too many N’s together, would that bother you??

Bluerussian · 27/12/2019 16:20

Thanks, my bad.

I agree Noah and Kiran sound good for brothers.
