Mila and ???

Hi all, first time poster here! We have a DD called Mila (pronounced Meela - not Miler!).

We're expecting a boy but having trouble finding/agreeing on names. (We must have had about a dozen girls names that we both liked.)

What do you think of our current top two?
Max (my choice)
Luca (wife's choice)

Others for consideration:
Mylo/Milo
Lucas (I prefer this to Luca)
Asher
Asa (pronounced Acer)

We are both of Indian heritage but would like a western/European name that still works for us - but this is much easier to do with girl's than boys!

Do you have any other suggestions? We would also like a name that sounds good with Mila when talking about them both together.

I wouldn't put milo or mylo with Mila.

Lucas is better than Luca I think because the ending is slightly different to Mila.

Max is nice.

Not keen on Asher. Asa is ok.

Agree - I really like Milo on it's own but it's probably too similar to Mila! (And would maybe only work if they were twins!)

I know a brother and sister called Mila and Max- I think they go together wonderfully.
Luca is ok but I’m not keen on any of your other picks.

I think Asa is a lovely Name! I think Milo would work, even though it’s a little similar to your girls name :)

Seriously Hmm at the PPs that think you can have a Mila and Milo?!! There is ONE letter difference!

I like Lucas and Max.

Born last week, we named our son Max. Using Maxi as a nickname. Thanks for all of your helpful thoughts.
