Corin.

Any other suggestions as to other names I might like based on this?

Sorry really dislike.
Reminds me of a WAG name like Coleen.

GiveHerHellFromUs · 13/12/2019 11:38

No it's awful, sorry.

whatalovelytub · 13/12/2019 11:42

I've heard Corinne before, which is perhaps more feminine/less surname sounding?

MangoStone · 13/12/2019 11:42

I like it - I think of it as quite a posh name as I was at school with a very posh Corin plus there is Corin Redgrave who seemed quite posh to me.

MangoStone · 13/12/2019 11:43

Corin = have only known this for a boy
Corinne = same name but the version for a girl

TheJoxter · 13/12/2019 11:45

Corin for a boy and Corinne for a girl. I’ve met a few of each, I like it.

MadCatLadee · 13/12/2019 11:59

Collette?

MadameSapphire · 13/12/2019 12:40

Just to clarify - am thinking of it for a boy!

Corin is a great strong name!

Peachbubble · 13/12/2019 13:28

Not for me

midsomermurderess · 13/12/2019 13:30

I would think it was quite posh Scots. Nothing remotely WAGish about.

Winterdaysarehere · 13/12/2019 13:31

Sadly maybe mistaken for Colin!!

Lavenderblues · 13/12/2019 13:35

Corin sounds nothing like Colin! The first syllable sounds quite different.

I like it.

Lavenderblues · 13/12/2019 14:17

Of course it's a boys name Hmm

Corinna or Corinne are the feminine versions.

MoiraRose · 13/12/2019 14:21

Corin sounds nothing like Colin! The first syllable sounds quite different

How do you pronounce Corin if its said totally different to Colin? Just curious, the first syllable sounds the same when I say it

whatyournamebabee · 13/12/2019 14:25

For a boy or a girl ?

I went to college with a Corrin who was female and I like it.

BlackSwanGreen · 13/12/2019 14:48

I like Corin a lot. My first association is a character in one of the Narnia books.
