Milo, Marley or Otis?

Got names for ds down to these three! Which is your favourite? Thanks

Well, Marley sounds like a floor tile and Otis is a make of lift. So for me that leaves Milo.

Otis and Milo are both such gorgeous names I can’t pick.
Don’t really like Marley.

Marley makes me think of a dog because of the film of that name, but I love Otis. Maybe it's my being older but I think of Otis Redding rather than the lift makers LOL! Milo isn't bad, but Otis is my favourite of the three.

Hmmm.. I really dislike Marley.

So either between Otis and Milo.

Isn't Milo a malted milk powder?

I love Marley and Milo. It’s not very popular on MN.

I wouldn’t choose them for my kids but I do genuinely love those names. We called our cat Marley as we didn’t use it.

I saw the title of the thread in the 'Active' feed before I read that it was in 'Baby Names'...and honestly? I thought the thread was going to be about a new puppy 🤷‍♀️. It was only when I clicked on it to comment that I saw it was a baby name thread..😳

So with that in mind...neither. They all remind me of dog names (because I know so many Marley and Milo dogs...loads!!). Never met an Otis but still...sounds like a puppy name to me 🤦‍♀️. Sorry.

I was scrolling down and thought this was a new puppy thread. And I say this as an aunty to a Milo.

Wasn’t Milo and Otis a film about a cat and dog? And Marley was the dog in Marley and Me.

Milo is more of a classic. Otis and Marley are more faddy.

I know someone who has used two of those and considered the other one.
