Over 13 years ago I called my son Teddy and people raised their eyebrows. It wasn't popular at all. And now? Clearly I was ahead of the curve Grin

He is the only one in a school of 1300 children but I'm just glad I don't frequent nurseries as sounds like there are stacks of little ones now

For my DS's age group, lots of Joshuas.

SumAndSubstance · 12/12/2019 08:41

Ted or Teddy. Drowning in them.

IVflytrap · 12/12/2019 11:40

Charlie, Alfie, Archie, George, but not that many of each. Baby boys here seem to end up with a much wider variety of names than the girls do.

George and William. Absolutely oodles of them.

NetballHoop · 12/12/2019 14:15

There are five James's in my DS's football team.

Baublesbanglesandbows · 12/12/2019 14:18

Every other young/baby boy is called Jack where I am!

Lavenderblues · 12/12/2019 14:42

Jack was THE most popular boys name 10 years or so ago, so there are going to be tens of thousands of Jacks out there Shock.

BertieBotts · 12/12/2019 18:53

Arlo
Lucas/Lukas (that's the German influence)
Charlie (and one Charley)
George
Ben/Benjamin

BertieBotts · 12/12/2019 18:54

Arlo is weird because I swear I'd never heard of it 5 years ago and now suddenly every other baby had that name!

I've never met a Teddy.

All boys names end in ie/y here! It’s strange, in a group of about 15 only my son didn’t have a name ending in that sound!!

Nightmanagerfan · 12/12/2019 20:51
