Aurora or Aurelia?

I like both but wondering whether they’re too hard for kids to pronounce themselves. Would also have issues with the various pronunciations of Aurelia (even me and dh don’t currently say it the same 🙄), though I think aurora is generally universally said the same.

DD1 is Lyra so I think they both fit well.

I like Aurora. I once knew an Auriel which I always thought was a lovely name.

Aurelia is gorgeous and more unusual than Aurora whilst also being easier to pronounce

I prefer Aurelia but like both

I prefer aurora, I think it sounds better and is much easier to pronounce especially for kids

I like them both and they both go well with Lyra.

I’m not keen on either, sorry, but I like Lyra. Selene?

Ahh I wish husband was bold enough to go for Aurelia! Settling for using it as a middle name. I think it's gorgeous.

StanleyWalkersThirdWife · 15/12/2019 18:17

Aurelia by a mile! One of my favourite names

Nonameyet1 · 15/12/2019 18:36

I prefer Aurelia.

In the same vein, how about:
Adelaide
Odette
Ondina
Araminta

Love Aurora and Aurelia

Also Ottilie (Ottie) sounds similar I think

GrumpyHoonMain · 16/12/2019 09:32
