Final list for baby boy - kind ideas welcome :-)

Right, this seems to be our final shortlist...thoughtful and informed opinions are very welcome and any ideas for other great names. :-) Thank you!

• Rafael
• Fabian (I'm aware of the link to the Fabian Society, but still love the name!)
• Rory (late addition to the list and an acquaintance has recently called her baby this so not sure about using it...)

Rory is my favourite by a long way, with Rafael in second place.

I like Rafael but prefer Rafferty

Rafferty mm Raffy is my fav boy names. I have an unnamed 5 day old and my husband has vetoed it. I'm so sad about it!

@NoGuarantee on no! What’s your shortlist? I love Raffy too - could you just use that as his full name? Or Ralph would work with nn Raffy

All nice, but I prefer Balonz personally.

Rory is very difficult to pronounce for people who have trouble with their Rs!

I like Fabian best. I also like Quentin or Reuben.

I really like Rafael / Raphael and Fabian too. Rufus for me is more of a shaggy dog or someone with red hair. Rory is perfectly fine though I'd go for Fabian or Rafe first. I wanted something like that but OH completely dug his heels in and refused!

Love Rufus and Rory.

Rufus seems very polarising, but it's far and away my favourite. The others I'm not too keen on.
