Noah and ?

Which would you choose for brothers and why?

Noah H#### and Dylan Thomas
Noah H#### and Jacob

Or..... Something else? Feel free to suggest. Popularity is not something that concerns me, I use a name based on how much I like it.

I know Dylan Thomas is a poet but I really like how both names sound together. Unsure on middle name for Jacob.

Dylan, to avoid having two biblical names.

MissHenty · 29/11/2019 21:37

I adore both Dylan and Jacob! Hard to chose. I’ll pick Dylan but I know a little Jacob and he’s adorable, his mum calls him Jay sometimes which I adore but all his friends call him by his full name

YouBoggleMyMind · 29/11/2019 21:39

We almost chose Dylan Thomas for our DS but felt the whole welsh poet thing would overshadow it and people would ask if we were welsh (we aren't!) Opted for Finley Thomas instead.

YouBoggleMyMind · 29/11/2019 21:41

We defo like Dylan though and may use it next time if we have another boy!

SweetSally · 29/11/2019 21:42

I know of a couple who named their children Noah and Evan (boys) ... It sounds quite pleasant. Both lovely boys, too

kenandbarbie · 29/11/2019 21:48

Jacob as well might be a bit too bibley , but if that's your favourite I don't think it's a deal breaker.

Dylan goes nicely.

Also:

Ethan
Isaac (also bibley!)
Finn

Thetimetravelerswife · 29/11/2019 21:56

I prefer Jacob

DramaAlpaca · 29/11/2019 22:11

Actually, Dylan Jacob. Definitely not Dylan Thomas.

Monny1 · 29/11/2019 22:16

Jacob is a cute name.

TatianaLarina · 29/11/2019 22:31

I think Jacob goes really nicely

Bsmirched · 29/11/2019 22:35

Noah and Will.

Astronica · 29/11/2019 22:47

I like suggestions of Noah and Will, Noah and Finn. I like Jacob best out of your options. I'd put Thomas first though as another option - Noah and Thomas.

Leo
Harry
Angus
Jack
Rufus

littlealexhorne · 29/11/2019 22:55

I like Dylan Thomas personally, I think Noah and Dylan go well together and that Dylan and Thomas is a nice combination

olympia7 · 29/11/2019 23:17

Astronica Unfortunately cant use Thomas as a first name. And Will doesnt go with the surname either.

Not Jacob - I can only think of Rees-Mogg.

BonBon411 · 30/11/2019 01:12

Prefer Jacob with Noah...
Love Jacob Aaron.

mathanxiety · 30/11/2019 01:25

Noah and Ezra
Noah and Henry
Noah and Leo
Noah and Samuel
Noah and Oliver

Not really keen on Dylan or Jacob, but I think Jacob fits well with Noah.

olympia7 · 30/11/2019 16:51

Thank you everyone so far!
I think I'm swaying more to Dylan Thomas because the meaning of Jacob isn't the best and I tend to look at meanings.
Someone suggested Dylan Jacob but not sure it flows as nicely as Dylan Thomas. It feels a bit clunky.
