First and middle name both beginning with J?

Due a baby boy in a few weeks, we’ve decided on the first name but cannot agree on a middle name. What do you think of having both the first and middle name beginning with a J? (Hesitant to post names on here as we haven’t told anyone our names & incase they’re recognised once he’s here.)

My son’s first and middle name start with J. I wasn’t keen because I don’t want him to be a JJ but middle name is a family name. He’s not been called it yet and I’m not too bothered now if he’s called it when in school. Rather pick names I like than worry about nicknames in school.

That’s what’s concerning me, the potential of the nickname JJ. DP is not bothered by it all and I wondered if I was over reacting. I also don’t like a common nickname from the first name we’ve chosen and will ask family and friends to not use that abbreviation - which will probably work until he starts school / is older but I guess I won’t be as bothered then.

My brother is a JJ but that's because that's what my DPs liked. Most people don't know the middle name so he's unlikely to be known as JJ unless you refer to him like that.

Obviously I'm a women but my first and middle name both begin with JJ. Affectionately know as JJ by my dad

@Modestandatinybitsexy that’s very true. I guess after the birth announcement, his middle name will not come up generally.

I knew someone at college whose first, middle and last names all began with with the letter J. It didn't seem strange at all to me.

I wouldn’t worry about two J’s like others have said most wont know
