Ok so I'm starting really early but my little boy Luke was nameless for two weeks as my other half and I just can't agree. If we have a girl she will be Maisy. But we struggle with boy names he says he doesn't like any 😑 here's some of my fav's that he hates...
Otis, Casper, Jacob, Toby, Noah, Rupert, Jasper, Frankie, Oscar, Dylan, Owen, Arthur and Archie
Any ideas for a brother for Luke that may appease my fussy husband? X

Luke is a lovely classic name so another classic like Nathan (Nate) or Adam would be good

Or something more unusual like Otto (seen as you like Otis)

Are you pregnant @impatientlyinfertile congratulations if so (spotted your username)

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 27/11/2019 16:30

Daniel goes nicely with Luke, as does Peter.

Leopardprintboots · 27/11/2019 16:34

Peter is a good suggestion

I've totally irrationally became attached to the name Rupert since talking to you all this morning and my other half hasn't said no so I'm going to stop worrying about it and hope it grows on him 🙈 I'm not even concerned that Rupert and Luke aren't really the same category of name x

Noah, Archie and Jacob are my fav out of your listSmile

Theo
Albie
Oliver (Ollie)

Leopardprintboots · 27/11/2019 22:51

Rupert is a gorgeous name @impatientlyinfertile I have always loved it

Maybe if you keep gently introducing the name into discussions with no pressure eg “I really love the name Rupert at the moment... anyway who’s taking the bins out...?” the increasing familiarity with the name will really help him love it too (that’s the kind of approach I think would work on my husband anyway. If I go in all guns blazing i frighten him off a bit and get a definite no!)
