Initials - am I overthinking it?

If we were to go with our favourite boy names their initials would be JAW. It’s niggling a little bit but am I overthinking?

I do use my full 3 initials in work contexts so don’t want to lumber a child with something bad!

Yeah, that’s fine. My cousins just named her son, his initials are BJS. I’d rather have JAWS

My eldest is RAW

My mum is SAD

I should add those initials are absolutely fine

My brother would have been that on my parents first choice so they just added an extra middle name in ...

I've got a friend whos initials are STD so I think JAW is ok

personally I like initials to be nice as well as the names and combinations, but that's just my opinion x

It's fine, don't overthink it.

I also think we should think of initials when naming. I hated my name when I was a kid and tried calling myself something else but then my initials were VD :-), so I reverted to my original.

I'm old enough to think of STD as Subscriber Trunk Dialling.

Ex’s sister was named Sarah Louise annabelle green....her parents weren’t the brightest

And massively outing myself but mine pre marriage were wam ha and are now WAR. Which I quite like.

My Mum is SAT, my friend is BUM and my cousin is ROT I don't think you need to worry about JAWS

I knew someone who's initials were SOD so I think it is something to think about, but I wouldn't be concerned about JAW.

Growing up, my younger brother's best friend's initials were JAM and his are JAR .. so they always got called Marmalade .. as you do.

Well, since this thread is filling up with people who say that the green grocers nephews initials spell ... it seems that it tends to be memorable. So best not spell a word.

JAW is fine, likely be known more as JW. I was on every headstone in the land.. changed when dm remarried... twas practical in the goth phases. Change was more to do with my age/blending family than my initials. Easier if we were all the x’s than me being the last living one lol

My Dad is JAW, my Mum was SEW and I am VW. Never been an issue for any of us! Go for it
