Regan for a baby boy?

What do you think to Regan (pronounce reegan) for a baby boy?

I have never heard of Regan for a boy. It's very much a girl's name and also has some challenging literary associations (King Lear, Exorcist). I wouldn't.

I dislike it..

I really dislike it, probably because my first thought was "Ronald".

I also think people won’t know whether it’s Ree-gan or Ray-gan

I taught a Regan (boy), and knew a Reagan (girl from NZ).

I wouldn’t think of it as being for boys or girls in particular.
It’s an OK name.

It's a bit American.
