We've narrowed the shortlist down to

Eliana Frances
Grace Frances
Alexandra Frances

Any thoughts on these? Frances is a family name hence the choice for second name.

Would you use frances as a first name? It's lovely! From your list I'd choose Grace.

Moomin8 · 05/11/2019 17:11

I would but it's my dd's best friends mums name - not sure if that matters or not?

Oh no we can't have a first name beginning with F because surname begins with B!

Honestly I like them all but Alexandra is a name I haven't heard in ages and sounds lovely with your middle name Smile

coffeecow · 05/11/2019 17:16

I'd pick Grace by a mile.

Leopardprintboots · 05/11/2019 17:16

I love Grace ❤️

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 05/11/2019 17:16

Alexandra

Alexandra or Grace

ThaliaLuxurySpa · 05/11/2019 17:48

In order of preference:
(though all are nice names)

  1. Alexandra
  2. Eliana
  3. Grace

Alexandra

duggeehug85 · 05/11/2019 18:23

What's wrong with the initials FB? Am I being thick?

MikeUniformMike · 05/11/2019 19:02

Alexandra or Grace,

Freewanderer · 05/11/2019 19:24

Definitely Alexandra. It’s the strongest one in my opinion and you don’t hear it as much as Grace. Alexandra is beautiful and classic and won’t date.

MikeUniformMike · 05/11/2019 19:33

Eliana has pronunciation issues and it disappears into the vowel-heavy and El- names. Is it Ellie-Ah-na, El-yahna, El-yanna or Ellie-Anna?

Alexandra is my favourite.

RachelEllenR · 05/11/2019 19:55

Grace is my favourite but they're all beautiful

Moomin8 · 05/11/2019 20:15

I'm leaning most towards Alexandra at the moment. All the Alexandras I know have been successful in life and it just seems like a good, classic name to me.

Yes our original favourite was Olivia but I didn't want to choose something that overused.

Alexandra Glorious name.

OMGicantbelieveeit · 05/11/2019 20:25

Alexandra Frances gets my vote!

NewElthamMum13 · 05/11/2019 20:26

Eliana is beautiful - unusual but still easy to pronounce. Alexandra is classic and not too common. Grace is a nice name but much more popular than the others and doesn't go with Frances as well as the other two. I much prefer the other two. Alexandra has the bonus of being easily shortened if wanted.

SpeckledyHen · 05/11/2019 20:27

Alexandra .

user1493494961 · 05/11/2019 20:31

I like Alexandra. Agree with pp, Eliana will just become another Ellie, one of many.

username1724 · 05/11/2019 22:37

Love Eliana - uncommon but not made up! Alexandra would get shortened to alex, grace is nice but quite common.

MrsBertBibby · 05/11/2019 23:08

Alexandra. Great name.

Grace Frances is very clunky (Frances Grace works much better).

Eliana is fussy (and autocorrects to Elaine for me!)

HerRoyalNotness · 05/11/2019 23:14

Alexandra Frances sounds best to my ear
