I'm asking for a friend who cba to make an account. She likes it, but she would appreciate genuine opinions from strangers if you'd be so kind...

(Otherwise she's leaning towards Evie or Scarlett.)

Out of the 3, Zoe is the least common imo....

MissHenty · 04/11/2019 22:15

Zoe is a great name

Also like Evie and Scarlett though!

userxx · 04/11/2019 22:15

Always loved that name.

GreyTS · 04/11/2019 22:15

Love it, have one, just the right mix of nice but underused, haven't come across any negativity in real life but don't think it's liked here

BikeRunSki · 04/11/2019 22:17

Evie and Scarlett are very popular. My DC are 8 and 11, and they know several of each in their peer groups.

We only know 1 Zoe, she’s 9. I also think it’s a much nice name.

BackforGood · 04/11/2019 22:17

I love it.
Unusual so there won't be several in ever class, but timeless.
Recognised by most people I'd have thought - easy to spell and to read off a list.

You can spell it Zoey so there could be mi-spellings but not enough to put me off.

SanJunipero · 04/11/2019 22:24

Love it (I could be biased though; I know a 4-year old Zoe and she's fab!).

DramaAlpaca · 04/11/2019 22:58

I've always loved this name. It's simple, pretty without being cutesy, not over used & has a nice meaning.

BrendasUmbrella · 04/11/2019 23:29

Thank you!

Zoe is lovely, and much nicer than the other options.

RoseMartha · 05/11/2019 23:41

Zoe is nice and unusual.

Bananalanacake · 05/11/2019 23:46

my car is called Zoe so I like the name as I love my carGrin

CruCru · 06/11/2019 12:13

Zoë is lovely (and much less popular than the other names she’s considering). Would she have it end e or ë? If people use the other ending, will it irritate her?

user1234567890987654321 · 06/11/2019 12:24

I have a Zoey. She's utterly wonderful! I love the name obviously. And DD. (Nc'd for this so my DD's name isn't forever linked with my posts)

MbwaKidogo · 06/11/2019 12:34

I also have a Zoë.
It's far more timeless than Evie or Scarlett imo.
Dd is the only one in her primary school, but it's equally not too "try hard" or fashionable.
Never had a negative comment, but I do think it's on the rise a little.

Pippilangstrumpfi · 06/11/2019 14:30

Zoë isn't unusual at all imo.

BonBon411 · 06/11/2019 21:02

Zoë is perfect

MikeUniformMike · 06/11/2019 21:17

Zoe is nicer than the other two. All three are ok.

Fedupofthedaily · 06/11/2019 21:21

My youngest is Zoe. Love the name

MeOldBamboo · 06/11/2019 21:24

I have a Zoe too. People always comment on it and the meaning is wonderful!

Passthecake30 · 06/11/2019 21:25

I have a Zoe, she's the only one in her school as far as she is aware. There is an dinner lady and a young brownie leader with the same name... it's spanning more generations than the Evie/Eva/Mia/Ella brigade.

isitxmasyet · 06/11/2019 21:26

Ruined for me forever by Zoe ball I’m afraid

JustaScratch · 06/11/2019 21:28

Super cute and I think it's ripe for a comeback. Not that it ever really went away.
