Hi. Strongly considering changing DS's current name. Considering Isaac (Arabic version is Ishaq) or Noah (Nuh).
Any preferences? Thanks!

Isaac by a long shot

meandmyboyz · 31/10/2019 19:45

Another vote for Isaac x

cptartapp · 31/10/2019 19:55

Isaac.
Hate Noah, sounds like a strained protest!

daisypond · 31/10/2019 19:59

Are you going to use the Arabic version?

PurpleViolin · 31/10/2019 19:59

I love Noah

Fookadook · 31/10/2019 22:09

Noah.

MissHenty · 31/10/2019 22:51

Love both

Untamedtoad · 31/10/2019 22:52

Issac

DramaAlpaca · 31/10/2019 22:53

I dislike both, but Isaac is better than Noah.

Lavenderblues · 31/10/2019 22:54

Unfortunately the Isaac we know gets teased with I suck, so that would put me off.

Noah is ok but does sound a little like a whiny No.

Are you unhappy with his current name?

Wheat2Harvest · 31/10/2019 22:55

Depends on what your surname is. Isaac Cox or Isaac Dick or similar would be a bit cruel, in my opinion.

GrumpyHoonMain · 31/10/2019 23:08

Are you converting to Islam? If so Nuh is a name, like Mohammed, that may require a second first name depending on your community - so Nuh Ahmed eg. For that reason I would use Ishaq

Astronica · 01/11/2019 02:27

I strongly prefer Isaac.

@AnotherUserName19

I love Isaac

Could you tell us what your sons current name is? I could inbox you if you don’t want to say

Spied · 03/11/2019 11:25

Isaac

Pippilangstrumpfi · 03/11/2019 11:33

Issac is often misspelled (Isacc or Issac) and does sound a little like I suck.

I'd choose Noah (although I'm not keen on it either).
