A middle name for Tabitha

Baby girl was born a couple of days ago and we have called her Tabitha, but we can’t settle on a middle name. We have three family names (grandmothers names) which we considered - Marnie, June and Roma, but we obviously don’t want to have three middle names! We considered:

• Tabitha June
• Tabitha Marnie Roma
• Tabitha Roma June

(These are the only potential combinations we can use as we want one name from either side of the family rather than two names from one side of the family, if you see what I mean). And lastly:

• Tabitha Genevieve (not a family name but we love Genevieve, pronounced the English way. This was our first choice but is it too much to have two long names?)

I know middle names aren’t particularly important but we really can’t decide which to use - any thoughts would be appreciated!

Tabitha June or Tabitha Genevieve are both lovely. I think the two middle names are a bit much with the longer first name. I think Tabitha June would be my choice but Tabitha Genevieve also works well.

I love the sound of Tabitha June, but thinking about it, the middle names are never used out loud.
Which isn’t much help in deciding, sorry.

June or Genevieve for me. If June is a family name and you could end up honouring one grandmother over the others, I would go for Genevieve as the neutral and because you love it.

Genevieve definitely too long as a middle name with Tabitha. For me it’s like putting two patterned fabrics together - too much going on and you lose the beauty of each. The simplicity of June sets off the prettiness of Tabitha, like a print cushion on a plain sofa.

But I have synaesthesia so I might be overthinking this.

I would go June as well. Out Tabitha is a Tabitha Jane and sometimes gets TJ or tibs as nicknames from friends

Tabitha Genevieve is lovely and I don't think it's too long, and Tabitha June is also lovely and best of the other combos.

I really like Tabitha Genevieve! It's honestly gorgeous.

Tabitha Roma June is lovely.

I find Tabitha Marnie Roma rather clunky tbh.

Tabitha Genevieve is lovely and not too long. We're planning a much longer name for ours 😂

Tabitha June is also nice but a bit more boring.

I really like Marnie and Roma as names but think they work less well with Tabitha.

However overall I think you should choose the middle name(s) that you like best and/or are most meaningful to you.

Tabitha June was the first name to come into my head before I even read your OP!
