How do you pronounce Clementine?

"teen" or "tyne"?

Teen. Like Churchill’s wife. It’s a French name like Josephine. But there’s no logic if or when it might change pronunciation. Tyne would be for Australia or America.

I’ve only ever heard it as Tyne (and know 2 who pronounce it like that), but teen gives it a nice exotic forrin twist!

Oh I thought the fruit was always -teen.

The girls' name can be either teen or tyne.

99% of the time people pronounce it Tyne- we are in the UK

I do get lots of compliments on her name-and lots of ppl saying they'd have used it "if they were brave enough"

Tyne. I've never heard teen. Maybe it's a regional thing?
