Arthur!

Apolloanddaphne · 14/10/2019 01:38

Benjamin. I love the name Ben.

DramaAlpaca · 14/10/2019 01:42

All good, strong names. I think Arthur is having a moment but will date again, lovely though it is. Max is the sort of nice, neat, short name that I go for, but wouldn't be my favourite. Benjamin is great, it's timeless & classic & suits every age. It's a bit long for me personally, but I really like Ben. In short all of them are good choices.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 14/10/2019 06:28

All very similar, don't think you can go wrong with any of them (sorry, not much help!!)

ThunderR0ad78 · 14/10/2019 06:40

Ben!

Arthur

Ben

NoSauce · 14/10/2019 11:40

I like Arthur and Benjamin but not keen on Max. I don’t like Ben either but love Benji.

BadSun · 14/10/2019 12:27

I love Max and Benjamin. Both were in our final 5 for DS1! Arthur I'm not a fan of. Seems a bit stuffy in comparison.

TottieandMarchpane · 14/10/2019 12:28

Arthur or Ben(jamin). Both lovely.

Max has been done to death, I think.

Lavenderblues · 14/10/2019 12:30

All very popular.

I'd choose Arthur as Ben and Max are a little dull imo.

FizzyGreenWater · 14/10/2019 12:30

Hmm, all good, I'd say no to Arthur as it's the one that's the most trendy now so it will probably date a wee bit. Also hate Art as a nn.

Benjamin you can't go wrong with, I'd say Max is more interesting though so would go for that.

notangelinajolie · 14/10/2019 12:32

Maximilian

Chocolatecake12 · 14/10/2019 12:34

Benjamin or max are both lovely.
Don’t like Arthur

Pointof0return · 14/10/2019 12:38

All lovely. Arthur is a bit too popular for me at the moment.

PandasMum · 14/10/2019 12:38

Reading the thread has been really interesting because when people say not Ben or Max I don’t react but when it’s Arthur I’m feeling what? Noooo Grin

So maybe Arthur is the one!

Yes, I think that tells you something.

BadSun · 14/10/2019 12:51

Max has been done to death, I think

Thing is, Max peaked at number 20 and is only 27th now

Benjamin was 14th twenty years ago but is now only 35th.

Arthur, however, has gone from 30th, to 19th, to 7th! in the last three years.

So for babies born around 2018-2020, Arthur is going to be by far the most common of the 3 names.

Aprillygirl · 14/10/2019 12:59

I have a Benjamin and love the name. I quite like Max too, but Arthur is just a bit too fashionable for my liking.
