Could you tell us the one boy name you like to give us a clue of the type of names you go for? Do you mind about popularity for example (many seem to be more concerned about popularity for girls’ names but not boys?!)

@MissHenty he likes the name too (although when I first suggested it he did make a joke about Noah's Ark) he just thinks we should have more than one option in case once the babies born we don't think he will suits Noah

MissHenty · 29/09/2019 21:54

Ahh I see. I love the name Noah. Hope you choose it . Hope the other options on here have been helpful. Do you like any of the names suggested @emmab96? Are we on the right lines?

emmab96 · 29/09/2019 21:57

@MissHenty yeah I like a few of them haha just so hard to choose one I mean most likely I'll be going with Noah it's like once you fall in love with a name nothing else seems to compare haha but the names are great thanks

Ahh @emmab96 it sounds like you’ve picked the right name there then 👍
Glad we’re helping with other options though. Will post if I think of anymore

Noah is a lovely name.
Also how about:
Jonah
Joshuah
Saul
Elijah

My DS due in 9 weeks is going to be a Noah Smile

MrsBertBibby · 30/09/2019 07:04

It's very popular and I suspect will date badly.

Conrad
Torin
Tobin

NoSauce · 30/09/2019 09:14

I find Noah a bit bland tbh. I also think it’s had its day now.

Magnus

milliefiori · 30/09/2019 09:24

I disagree that it will date. It's a biblical name. They are classic. The kind of names that date imo are names like Rocco and Milo and Finn that are fashionable but not classic.

Puppilangstrumpfi · 30/09/2019 10:58

The Bible doesn't protect names from dating Grin

Any name that becomes fashionable quickly eventually falls out of fashion and will sound dated.

I know loads of Noahs aged 15 and under but not s single adult Noah. I predict that people will soon get tired of it.

Puppilangstrumpfi · 30/09/2019 11:00

I much prefer the more classic suggestions of

Magnus
Cassius
Quentin
Torin
Conrad
Rufus

MissHenty · 30/09/2019 11:29

I love Noah. Gentle sounding but very masculine. I think the name will always have a lovely sound to it. Names that have dated like Keith and Nigel have horrible twang to them. Noah just sounds really nice.
