Thoughts on the name Halia?

Hal or Hallie for short

I dislike it and it makes you appear desperately try hard.

I also thought Halitosis.

It sounds made up. I prefer Hallie or Harriet, which you could still get Hal from, and sound similar.

To me, it sounds a bit like a made up Arabic name.

Therefore, I offer Hala, Alya or Dalia.

I think you need to make another one up (Arlie is just as bad).
