Same as pp, Astrid, Tessa and Iris, are all beautiful.

LarkDescending · 26/09/2019 23:16

I’ve always loved Astrid.

I also like the flower name Aster.

honeyalmondlatte · 27/09/2019 08:47

Personally I absolutely love Tessa! I know a really lovely Tessa and It's also on my list. I don't get the hate for it on this thread! It usually gets suggested several times.

Inlovewitharagorn · 27/09/2019 15:06

Astrid - I don't understand why this is so popular but I know it is. I can't see the appeal
Lucy - ok.
Florence - lovely but popular
Halle - don't like at all
Savannah - don't like at all
Tessa - gorgeous
Iris - gorgeous

I would go for Iris or Tessa.

HamiltonBentley · 27/09/2019 15:08

Astrid - really like
Lucy - a bit 90s. Also know lots of dogs named Lucy
Florence - really overused
Halle - yes, love
Savannah - not my taste
Tessa - I love Tess
Iris - like

Out of this, I would go for Halle or Tess(a)

user1493494961 · 27/09/2019 18:23

Also don't understand the appeal of Astrid. Lucy, Florence and Tessa are lovely, really dislike Halle.

MrsDimmond · 27/09/2019 18:26

Im not keen on Astrid Halle or Savannah. But like all your other suggestions.

If you love Florence use it!

Cookit · 27/09/2019 19:00

How funny because Tess or Tessa usually gets a great response on here!! I love it fwiw.

I don’t like Savannah.

17caterpillars1mouse · 27/09/2019 20:07

Astrid - I really like it but have actually come across quite a few recently. I would worry it would date

Lucy - beautiful classic name

Florence - I love it but too popular for me. Great nickname options. I really like Florrievand Flossie

Hallie - not a fan

Savannah - dislike, sorry. Really don't like the sound of Sav

Tessa - like but prefer Tess

Iris - lovely name

plipliop · 27/09/2019 20:12

I liked Astrid until someone said it reminded them of Arse Turd.

Now that's all I think of.

areukiddingme · 27/09/2019 20:13

Astrid... have you been to the I-hop lol

Mamabear144 · 27/09/2019 20:16

I love Lucy or Halle, Astrid makes me think of an asteroid for some reason but I could just be strange.

SomethingAboutNothing · 27/09/2019 21:13

Has Astrid become popular because it is a character in the how to train your dragon franchise?
I quite like it, haven't met one in real life before.

TwinkleInMyEye2020 · 27/09/2019 21:31

I’d be careful with Lucy as it seems to be on its way out now. Have a look at last year’s stats - I don’t think there were many. Lovely name though it is, you don’t want people assuming she’s 20 years older than she is.

waltzingparrot · 27/09/2019 22:33

Amazing the difference one letter can make. I really don't like Tessa, yet love Tess.

I love Astrid, Tessa and Iris

Maisymay12 · 28/09/2019 17:45

Tessa and Iris are two of my favourite names. Lucy as well.

Astrid is a lovely, strong name. Don't care much for Halle or Savannah, but they're not terrible.

I would probably choose Halle or Astrid Smile

Pottytoes · 29/09/2019 17:46

Out of your choicesI'd probably choose Tessa. It's simple, elegant but underused. I like it

MrsLEB · 29/09/2019 17:48

Astrid - not keen it's a bit 'out there' for me
Lucy - classic maybe a bit too 'known'?
Florence - this is quite cute and unique
Halle - really cute probably my favourite
tessa - for some reason reminds me of a dogs name
Iris - I like this and think it would carry well throughout all life stages
