Classic but not overused girl names

DP and I like Olivia and Grace but I just can't settle on either because I think they are so overused. I want her to have something more unique as that will be nicer for her when she's older. Dp is stuck on Olivia and Grace.

My suggestions, vetoed by dp 🙄

Verity (love this name)
Margot
Violet
Eleanor
Viola
Liberty

Any ideas?

@Moomin8 @insancerre

Grace is actually on a massive downwards trajectory now, a few years ago yes it was very common but much rarer now. I’ve not met any in 2 years of baby groups. The statistics speak for themselves:

names.darkgreener.com/#grace

MissHenty · 24/09/2019 19:35

It was the number 1 name 10 years ago, now it’s about to slip out of the top 10. Only 0.35 per cent of babies are called “Grace”. That’s pretty tiny

Thanks for the suggestions. I like Alice, Clara and Felicity so I'll run those past dp.

Yes I had noticed that the peak time for Grace was when my 15 year old dd was little but I still hear it a lot.

I'm sorry, but Alice always makes me think 'who the fuck is Alice?' probably showing my age a bit there though 🤦‍♀️

How about
Rose
Tabitha
Audrey
Madeleine
Ada
Beatrice
All quite classic names

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 24/09/2019 20:33

Violet Grace or Olivia Grace are gorgeous.
I wouldn’t call Liberty or Viola classics, sorry.

I like Grace but agree Olivia is very over used. I know at least 10 kids called Olivia. I liked Elana for a girl.
