Does this combination sound odd?

I like it. Not overly keen on Arabella but I love Lily so overall it’s nice

notso · 16/09/2019 17:08

Not very keen. Too many l's make it very sing songy.

xennalisa · 16/09/2019 17:08

It’s got a few Ls so a slight mouthful but not a big deal as you really say hi I’m Lily Arabella Surname.

Agree with pp ... don’t like Arabella but love Lily!

daisypond · 16/09/2019 17:09

It’s a bit of a tongue twister, I think, but it’s OK. Arabella is a bit frilly for me. I like Lily a lot.

MissHenty · 16/09/2019 17:52

Lily is a lovely name.

I think the two names sound nice but I wouldn’t fret too much. It’s pretty rare you say both names together anyway. If you like them both just use them

NoSauce · 16/09/2019 18:01

Agree with too many Ls. I prefer Arabella to Lily which I find really over done and boring.

icecreamsundae32 · 16/09/2019 18:30

I really like it and I don't think too many Ls - unless you can't pronounce your Ls! I think it flows nicely!

percheron67 · 16/09/2019 18:33

I love both names.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/09/2019 18:37

I love it.

ohbabygirl · 16/09/2019 18:45

Thanks all, it's only name me and OH seem to love. I know it sounds a tad odd with the Ls but as pp said, she won't ever introduce herself as Lily ArabellaSmile

Very nice.

Toxicity1984 · 16/09/2019 20:13

I like it

pinkpanther84 · 16/09/2019 20:33

I think it's a gorgeous name

onemorecakeplease · 16/09/2019 20:50

It's beautiful

Decadoma · 16/09/2019 21:04

Love it, Lily would have been high on our list if DS had arrived a different gender. (Lily, Sadie or Georgina)
Always liked Arabella - there was a hamlet near where i grew up. There were 3 supposedly named after 3 sisters : Arabella, Jemimaville and Barbaraville. I always wondered why Arabella didn't get a - ville!

joystir59 · 16/09/2019 21:11

Arabella is a bit much for a middle name imo.

Wallflowermeadow · 16/09/2019 21:30

Absolutely love Arabella... I feel like Lily is used a lot nowadays but still a nice name. Very sweet 😊

DramaAlpaca · 16/09/2019 21:31

I like it.

diddlediddle · 16/09/2019 21:41

It's a nice combo

GlasshouseStoneThrower · 16/09/2019 21:49

It slightly sounds like a made up princess name a child would choose for themselves in a game with their friends. I think it's just a bit twee. I do like both names separately, just don't love them together.

Astronica · 16/09/2019 23:37

A lovely name.

BethanyGilbert · 17/09/2019 13:46

Hate the name Arabella. So try hard.

Nonameyet1 · 17/09/2019 17:59

It’s too much for me but if you like it go for it.

FizzyGreenWater · 18/09/2019 11:40

Yes sorry, just a bit twee and princessy. Lily is also v v popular. I do like Arabella, don't love it though.

Something more rufty tufty with Lily would be better. Or just 'out there'.
