Which Girls name do you prefer?

Hi there, 39 weeks pregnant and cannot decide on a baby girl name. Narrowed it down to

  1. Ella
  2. Mila
  3. Lia
  4. Mia

Which do you think is nicer? Help! Thanks.

In order: Lia, Mia, Ella, Mila.

Ella & Mia are very popular, the other two less so.

There's no hurry to decide, you'll probably know when you meet her.

Mila, beautiful name.

I also like Mia and Ella.

Not really sure about Lia, it looks either like you can't spell Leah, or that it's Liar.

They are all a bit bland and overused, but Mila the least so I think.

I only like Ella. I really dislike the eea eela sounds. Same with Amelia, sounds screechy (maybe just because I hear them in scottish accents though)

Lia is my favourite, though I prefer the Leah spelling. Quite unusual these days.

Mila is lovely - becoming more popular. I also like Ella but less keen on Mia.

They're all a bit mix and match, you could just stick a pin in the list and see where it lands.

Ella or Mia. Both are pretty popular, I think I’d pluck for Mia.

Can I be that annoying git who suggests a name not on the list?

If so, Maia.
If not, any but Lia. There's one I know and lots of people use 'liar' as their go-to pronunciation when they first read her name.
