Baby names..........

Hello All,

We are due to have a surprise in December and we seem to struggle with boys names or at least names we both agree on... need some ideas...

For girls, we like Poppy, Rosie, Lily, Isabelle (with Poppy Rose No:1 at the moment which we both agree on!!)

For boys its a different story

He loves Leo, James, Freddie

We both like Freddie and James, although which way round is not sorted.

I think we both feel Freddie is a bit more risky as will they get called Fred, which we don't like but James - is that a bit boring and a bit too safe ?!

Any ideas for boys names would be great :)

How about Robert? Good solid name, fab nicknames (Rob, Robbie, Bert, Bob etc) and not overused, (James and Freddie etc are v popular).

I like Leo.
Freddie is ok but same as you, I dislike Fred.
Same with James- he'd probably get Jim / Jimmy so I wouldn't.

James isn't the most interesting, but it sounds great with Poppy Rose. I love Leo too!

I'm having a girl so don't need my boy choices now. My top names were Simon, Arthur and Arran

How about Reuben, Rex, Milo or Seth? Wilfred?

Having said all that I love James and Freddie as names (none of the Freddie’s I know have been shortened to Fred) x
